After growing up watching Jacques Cousteau, I always knew that I wanted to dive but always thought that I was going to have to go to California or Florida...who would have thought that the Pacific NW was such a world class dive destination (albeit a chilly one!)?

 

Finally in late 1993 I decided to take the plunge and got my Open Water certification!! Shortly thereafter I moved to Arizona and took a small break from diving. Then in 1998 I got back into dive mode by taking a trip to Catalina Island and the hook was set...again! Since then I have dived around the world including Australia, the Maldives...many times in Mexico, California, North Carolina, Bonaire and Cozumel. I have been wreck diving in Truk Lagoon (Chuuk), The Florida Keys and been on liveaboard dive trips to the Turks and Caicos and the Soccorro Islands where we dived with Whale Sharks and Manta Rays!! I LOVE shooting UW video too!!
