Open Water Instructor and Software Guru
When I was a kid I read in National Geographic about the Nuestra Señora de Atocha, a Spanish galleon that sank during a hurricane off the coast of Florida. This galleon had millions of dollars of silver, gold, and precious gems, which were discovered by treasure hunter and SCUBA diver Mel Fisher in July of 1985. From that point on I wanted to be a SCUBA diver. As the years passed and I grew into adulthood I found other passions, eventually moving away from this childhood dream of being a treasure hunter, but I never stopped wanting to be a SCUBA diver.
My wife and I were certified in March 2014 at Lake Pleasant, AZ. Since then we've continued our diving education, and I completed my Divemaster program in February 2016. I love diving, and it continues to be one of the best experiences of my life.
My first salt water dives were with my wife, Charisse, on the USS Oriskany off the coast of Pensacola, Florida, as part of our honeymoon. They were incredible dives, and we can't wait to return. We went to Bonaire with Fins Up Scuba in September 2015, it was our first real "Dive Trip" and it was incredible. We saw so much amazing stuff, and we can't wait for the next trip we get to go on! We spent six full days diving, and I personally logged 25 dives while there. It was truly incredible.
I enjoy sharing my love of diving with others!
